SNOWPIERCER

Snowpiercer

The train in 'Snowpiercer' was inspired by the beluga whale, an endangered species.

The concept came from an irony: what if the beluga, a creature pushed toward extinction by humanity, were now carrying the last remnants of humankind—on the verge of extinction themselves—toward their final hope?

Alienoid

ALIENOID

The concept design for Alienoid began with the idea of extraterrestrials attempting to imitate human civilization, but never quite getting it right.

The concept grew from a simple question: if aliens were to invade Earth, would they really bother to understand and follow even the smallest rules and conventions of human society?

The Host

THE HOST

The creature in the film becomes an abnormal mutant after ingesting a chemical substance. To eliminate it, the Agent Yellow Gas Machine is introduced.

The design began with a single question:
“Why does a machine have to be perfect?”

I rejected the conventional notion of mechanical design—that a machine should be precise, balanced, and perfectly symmetrical—and instead approached the design from an anti-art perspective. Like the mutated creature it was created to eliminate, the machine itself was intentionally designed with a distorted sense of bilateral symmetry: symmetrical, yet somehow wrong.

Its abnormality was not a flaw, but the very foundation of the design.

THE Metaverse World PRJ [ TBV].

“Wherever humans exist, gods and religion inevitably follow.
This project is set in the metaverse—a world where humanity has come to exist in an entirely new form. It led me to wonder: in such a world, what kind of god would humanity worship?”

'Money Game' is an OTT drama series whose overall color palette was inspired by the colos of 'Edward Hopper'.

I wanted the world to feel beautiful, vivid, and almost like a fairy tale—a place where children might naturally be expected to run and play. But within that colorful and seemingly innocent environment, brutal violence between adults begins to unfold.

This contrast became the foundation of the entire visual concept:

“Fun Murder.”

A world that looks playful and inviting, while concealing something deeply cruel beneath its surface.
